A bit about me

I'm an Art Director by trade and a Creative by nature. I've been fortunate to have 20+ years of incredible agency experiences. I still love the idea that every day, every assignment, every brief is an opportunity to create something new, to solve a problem that hasn't been figured out yet. It’s an awesome job that humbles me time and time again.

I’ve been a part of many going back to my time at BBDO and Deutsch, as well as led a few strong ones at Arnold and more recently COMM, which has made me a believer in teams and talent. Both take time to cultivate and identify, but when we get it right, and egos are left in check, that’s when the work becomes fun and we start hearing the problem loud and clear to deliver strong work.

When I see work that makes me jealous, that truly excites me, it’s almost always because it’s two parts smart before it’s creatively explored. Smart thinking cuts through, can be culturally rich, timely, and absolutely becomes magnetic.

It’s not B2C or B2B–it’s human to human. I learned a long time ago that it’s about owning a moment, a time, a place, a behavior so deeply it becomes theirs, it’s what people cling on to, can identify with. That’s when it gets interesting and creativity shifts from pursuit to purpose.
